Mōko Chō combines the force of a roaring tiger with the lighter movement of butterflies, finished with bold red Japanese brush lettering and small orange accents. On this hoodie, the artwork is placed as a large back print, giving the design more impact while keeping the front clean and easy to wear.
The name brings together Mōko (猛虎), meaning “fierce tiger”, and Chō (蝶), meaning “butterfly”. That contrast between aggression and delicacy runs through the whole piece, drawing on Japanese-inspired illustration and tattoo aesthetics while keeping the composition bold and graphic.
Printed on a classic Gildan hoodie, this version uses a substantial cotton-poly blend with a soft air-jet spun finish designed to reduce pilling. The double-lined hood, rib-knit cuffs and waistband, front pouch pocket and reinforced stitching make it a dependable everyday layer for colder days, while the relaxed shape works well with the oversized back artwork.
