Mōko Chō balances the raw force of a roaring tiger with the lighter movement of butterflies, using bold red Japanese brush lettering and small orange accents to pull the composition together. On this version, the artwork is placed as a large back print, giving the design more room to breathe and making the tiger feel even more imposing.

The name combines Mōko (猛虎), meaning “fierce tiger”, with Chō (蝶), meaning “butterfly”. That contrast between strength and delicacy is central to the artwork, with the aggressive tiger imagery offset by softer movement and detail. The result sits somewhere between Japanese-inspired tattoo art, poster graphics and modern streetwear.

Printed on the AS Colour oversized faded tee, this version has a substantial 240 g/m² weight with a boxy shape, dropped shoulders and wide neck ribbing. The garment-dyed finish gives each colour a slightly worn-in, lived-in character, while the pre-shrunk carded cotton keeps the feel sturdy and structured.
